Current vacancy - MDSA 

We are looking for flexible and adaptable people to be part-time MDSAs at our school (Monday-Friday 12:00-13.30, a total of 7.5 hours per week in term time only). There are currently two posts available.

Frogwell Primary School is a caring and highly inclusive school of just under 200 children with a supportive and welcoming staff team. Our school also hosts a Resource Base for pupils with complex learning needs.

The successful candidate will be expected to support children ranging from 4 to 11 during their lunchtime, both inside in the lunch hall and outside on the playground. This post is permanent (subject to satisfactory completion of probationary period).

We need an MDSA who:

  • has emotional resilience, empathy and the motivation to work with pupils with a variety of different learning and social / emotional needs
  • is proactive, enthusiastic and adaptable
  • is able to actively engage children in playground games and activities
  • wants to work in a school with a caring, supportive and stable staff team

Commencement date: As soon as possible following satisfactory clearances.

Salary: Grade B point 2 (£23,656 pro rata / £12.26 per hour)
