Potter (CNRB)

Welcome to Potter Class!

Hello and welcome to our class page. Potter class is one of the two Resource Base classes at Frogwell School. Our class is made up of the younger children across the two Resource Base classes (generally Reception - KS1).

Our staff team is made up of:-

  • Miss Kennedy - Class Teacher and Resource Base Leader

Our wonderful teaching assistants are:-

  • Miss Marsh - Higher Level Teaching Assistant and PPA cover Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday
  • Miss Broom (full-time)
  • Mrs Love (full-time)
  • Miss Metcalfe (full-time)

Please use Class Dojo to communicate with us, share information or if you have a question regarding your child or anything school related! We will use Class Dojo as a way to communicate with you about what your child has been doing in school, photographs of their learning and any questions we may have. New parents in September will be sent a link to create an account.

Later in the term, we will start our 'Story Sharing' sessions every week. Please continue to send in photos/news about what the children have been up to. This creates an excellent opportunity for the children and supports them in sharing their stories/news with the rest of the class.

Please ensure that your child has a full PE kit in school ready for our sessions. We will send them home at the end of the term to be washed.

Appropriate clothing for PE:

  • Black/blue shorts or jogging bottoms
  • White T-shirt- please only send in a T-shirt with the school logo on or plain white (no other logos please)
  • Sensible footwear- daps or trainers (daps are preferable for indoor PE as the velcro fastenings support independence)

Swimming will resume later in the year, and you will receive information about this closer to the time.

When the weather is warm, please ensure your child brings a clean water bottle every day, a sun hat and sun cream!

Please also ensure that your child has a snack for mid-morning break if they are unlikely to eat the school-provided healthy snack (fruit or vegetables).
